Everything You Need to Know About the Boschmann Equalizer EQX-75PRO

What is the Boschmann EQX-75PRO?

You can also use it to optimize specific frequencies or tailor an entire system setup to get the best possible sound performance.

Tweaking and Fine Tuning Settings on the EQX-75PRO

With the proper setup in place, you can begin tweaking and fine-tuning your Boschmann EQX-75PRO equalizer. Use the basic frequency analyzer to measure the loudness of each frequency at its maximum output level.

 Set a reference point for any peaks or dips in the soundwave. Once you have identified any issues with the EQ’s soundscape, adjust the frequencies using the EQX-75PRO’s built-in knobs to achieve your desired output.

Before Turn ON: Turn the unit Volume to a minimum. Adjust the input gains to a minimum. Turn the source unit volume to the minimum & set the EQ Controls to Flat (12 O’clock )

System Turn ON: After completing all wiring you can turn the system on.

Adjust: Raise the Volume of the Unit to the maximum. Adjust the left-right input gains of the unit until halfway between minimum & maximum. 

Gradually increase source volume until the clip. Begin gradually increasing input gains until the distortion is audible, then reduce slightly. 

The system should be extremely loaded at this point. Turn the volume control down to a minimum and back up to a comfortable level. Volume changes should sound linear and balanced.

Troubleshoot tips

For best results, always use the main volume as a master volume control. Main Volume Control has better electronics, a higher Signal to Noise ratio, and is more linear than any source unit volume available. 

If Engine Noise is audible, try raising the volume on the source unit, and/ or check the ground connection on the unit.
